ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following. Other duties will likely be assigned.

  • Requires availability during core business hours.
  • Develops and grows marketing plans that fosters innovation and creativity.
  • Promote new products and software to drive sales.
  • Maintain client list and schedule for promotion events.
  • Works collaboratively across departments to ensure the implementation of integrated strategies.
  • Interacts with clients following the organization’s customer service standards.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and insights .
  • Manage the marketing budget and allocate resources effectively.
  • Collaborate with sales, product development, and other teams to maximize marketing efforts.
  • Manages Cooperative Education Program and Recruiting Efforts with Public Partners, Non-Profits, Recruiting.
  • Execute events, networking opportunities, industry conferences and manage communication.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
  • Coordinate with corporate marketing team for compliance and approval.
  • Other responsibilities may be assigned.

Job duties will be primarily limited to the Greater Cincinnati area; however, out of town travel may be required.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Experience with marketing software and platforms required.
  • Experience with building automation/construction industry desired.
  • Possess project management skills.
  • Experience working in a highly collaborative environment where teamwork and self-motivation were critical for success.
  • Experience leading a small marketing team is highly desired.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and electronic).
  • Must be self-motivated, goal & results oriented and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have high standards of quality with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines, adjust to changes in priorities, and balance short term needs with long term strategic policy initiatives.

PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 2-5 years related experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related.
  • Working knowledge of federal, state, and city regulations and guidelines.
