Essential Functions: Serves as a security subject matter expert on enterprise projects, software and hardware enhancements, and initiatives. Identifies information security risks, provides recommendations, builds and configures solutions, and troubleshoots issues Supports manager in establishing roadmap by reviewing existing tools used, assessing and recommending new tools to use based on research Designs, builds, deploys, and maintains information security systems Troubleshoots and solves complex problems related to information security systems and controls Ensures information security systems align with architectural requirements and strategies Proactively manages security tools/services and vendor life cycle management Ensures purchases and renewals are processed in a timely manner, meets security budgetary goals, and avoids disruptions to security services and projects Performs risk assessments of business processes and system hardware and software acquisitions, configurations, and architectures Manages document life cycle including periodic reviews, updates, and approval cycles Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in information security, information technology, or related field or equivalent relevant experience Seven years of experience in information technology, including four years of experience in information security, infrastructure engineering, network engineering or related experience Experience designing, building, and maintaining information security systems Information Security certifications (CISSP, CCSP, CCSK, AWS, Azure, Security , CEH, GSEC) preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Excellent knowledge of information security standards, concepts, principles, technologies and practices Strong knowledge of information technology including network, servers, cloud, and PKI/cryptography and identity and access management technologies Ability to lead moderate to highly complex technology projects Strong knowledge of productivity software, such as Microsoft Suite and diagramming software Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems Strong ability to secure cloud solutions within AWS, Google, and/or Azure cloud platforms Ability to script and automate using Python and CloudFormation preferred Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work effectively with others and across varying levels Strong ability to multitask and organize complexity Excellent documentation skills First Shift (United States of America) Our employment practices are in accord with the laws which prohibit discrimination due to race, color, creed, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, religion, age, national origin or ancestry, physical or mental disability, medical condition, veteran status, active military status, citizenship status, marital status or any other consideration made unlawful by federal, state, or local laws.
