What You’ll Do:

  • Operate a multi-line phone system and Online Messaging system in order to communicate withinternal and external customersregarding job orders and needs.
  • Maintain a "Big Picture" view of calendar regarding technician scheduling in order to assign real time and future technician jobs.
  • Always aware of the Central Virginia territory and changes that may occur: IE. Directions, zip codes, local terminology, additional routes, etc. which may influence the timeliness of a Technician’s response time.
  • Continually exhibit a positive, customer service mentality with both internal and external customers.
  • Remain confident in their ability to make the correct decision when determining Technician call order and stops.
  • Positively contribute to the culture and overall success of the company and department.
  • Communicate with technicians regularly to keep on track with the progress of the job.
  • Communicate with customers to address their needs and make sure that all issues are addressed expeditiously and professionally.

What You’ll Bring:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience with service dispatch is beneficial.
  • Previous exposure to the plumbing or HVAC trades or a similar business is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to quickly learn utilized software and processes.
  • Team player with a desire to contribute to the overall success of the company.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; Including excellent telephone Skills.
  • Experience with a multi-line telephone system.
  • Fluent English-speaking and writing skills.
  • Upbeat personality with a warm and friendly demeanor.
  • Organized, detail oriented, able to handle a variety of tasks in a simultaneous manner.
  • Must be an independent thinker - "Go Getter" mentality exhibiting Initiative to make decisions and trust your instincts.
