EMC Insurance is Hiring a Remote Technical Trainer - Claims Center

Essential Functions: Prepares and facilitates highly engaging and interactive training for new hires, program participants and administration staff, and any other applicable team members, focusing on critical systems for Guidewire Claims Center and operational workflows. Identifies training needs for new and current team members and develops solutions to address them. Creates training materials to effectively guide Claims teams in Guidewire concepts. Prepares course content based on input from subject matter experts, existing materials, and independent research and explains complex product information to non-technical audiences. Determines the method of delivery, plans, organizes, and conducts face-to-face and remote training classes for team members on the features and operation of the Claims Center system. Edits procedure manuals and develops and implements on-demand video library for system features and updates. Performs refresher training, including one on one training sessions with current users. Conducts an evaluation of existing training efforts to make sure they meet current needs. Measures the impact of learning solutions and implements enhancements accordingly. Utilizes classroom management skills to ensure participants are appropriately engaged in learning. Quickly intervenes to address any participants who may become a distraction to the learning process (e.g., impacting morale). Research trends both within EMC and among competitors. Coordinates weekly collaboration meetings with Business Analysis and Procedures team. Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience Two years of experience with Guidewire, including experience with Claims Center Two years of technical training/facilitation (including virtual) or related experience Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter, assertive, enthusiastic, and self-directed with excellent communication skills and customer-service orientation Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, a high degree of ownership for projects, and strong follow-through Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, iterative cycle with multiple projects under scheduled deadlines Demonstrated ability to understand and explain issues from both a technical and a business functional point of view Ability to work with customers and collaborate on solutions Ability to focus on quality, innovate, be analytical and efficient Training, coaching and program delivery skills Ability to facilitate dialogue and deliver engaging trainings Our employment practices are in accordance with the laws that prohibit discrimination due to race, color, creed, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, religion, age, national origin or ancestry, physical or mental disability, medical condition, veteran status, active military status, citizenship status, marital status or any other consideration made unlawful by federal, state, or local laws.
