ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Clinical Client Support Specialist provides administrative and security supports to clinical staff including therapists and Client Program Specialists.

  • Adheres to Evidence Based Practices.
  • Operates with a level of integrity to comply with all Federal, State and County compliance standards to include the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA).
  • Conducts transportation of clients, medication pick-ups, drop-offs, etc.
  • Provides First Responder medical attention to include CPR, 1st Aid, AED and Narcan administration if applicable.
  • Monitors cameras to supplement staff presence within the environment
  • Employs appropriate utilization of de-escalation tactics to include problem solving and Motivational Interviewing techniques to resolve conflict.
  • Audits client IRT hours records.
  • Maintains Medication management/MAT schedule.
  • Ensures compliance with CORE correctional practices.
  • Processes client intake paperwork.
  • Conducts AED, Narcan, First Aid Kit checks.
  • Performs pat downs, room searches and security in clinical are.
  • Serves as Point of Contact for outside client clinical appointment schedules. follows up with Client PRogram Specialists as necessary regarding paperwork, appointments, missed appointments, etc.
  • Facilitates client training i.e. 7 Habits and supports to client group sessions.

EDUCATION/ WORK EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or equivalent education.
