Embrace is a fear-free, private, small animal, fully diagnostic, integrative medicine practice. We're open 8-5 Monday through Friday, but we close fully 12-2pm daily for lunch and patient care. We are looking for a full time (M-F) addition to our team, which currently consists of two clinicians, a practice manager with exceptional technician skills, three experienced veterinary technicians, and two fabulous receptionists.

The ideal candidate has experience and skill in the following areas:

Appointment management: obtaining detailed but efficient patient histories, time management, record keeping, TPRs, filling medications, invoicing, client and team communication.

Medical patient care: administering medications (subcutaneously, intramuscularly, intravenously), placing IV catheters, running IV fluids, basic wound care, bandaging, low-stress patient handling techniques.

Diagnostic knowledge: obtaining samples and running heartworm tests, triple test, IDEXX in-house clips, ear/skin cytology prep and interpretation, utilizing correct tubes for reference lab samples, processing reference lab samples via IDEXX, obtaining adequate radiograph images.

Surgery case management: surgery room prep and clean up, intubation/extubation, hands-on monitoring, Cardell monitoring (EKG, SpO2, capnograph, BP, pulse, RR, Temp), surgery pack prep, surgery patient discharges.

Client care: client communication, education, bed-side manner, kindness, and grace.

Experience with tech: EzyVet practice management software, IDEXX in house and reference lab.

Exceptional teamwork: communication, willingness to help, punctuality, attendance, trustworthiness, kindness.
