When a child can’t remain safely in their home, we partner with local agencies to support them through foster care, adoption, mentoring and beyond to ensure that children in bad situations move toward brighter futures.Telecommuting/Remote work options available: Hybrid RemoteStarting salary: $70,000 - $73,600 (negotiable based on experience)------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------POSITION OBJECTIVE: Responsible for the oversight, integration and monitoring of well-being related youth services provided by staff and grant funded programs. Work in coordination with the Youth Services Director to ensure delivery of quality services that reduce high risk behaviors of youth exiting the foster care system. Assisting the department in maintaining compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and best practices. KEY FUNCTIONS:
Ensure the quality, effectiveness and compliance of Youth Services programs provided in coordination with the Director of Youth Services.
Collaborate and work cooperatively with relevant agency staff to effectively oversee quality outcomes for children.
Responsible for the development and integration of the provider service network to ensure the well-being, social, and financial development of services for older youth served by Embrace Families CBC.
Responsible for collecting and analyzing applicable program data to ensure performance of contracted service providers is meeting expected contract deliverables.
Work in coordination with the Youth Services Director to develop and maintain a centralized Youth Services Program Manual.
Administer the implementation of the organization’s System of Care document as it relates to Youth Services and ensure consistency of practice across all counties served.
QUALIFICATIONS: Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or Human Services field
A minimum of five years of experience in direct service program work which must include supervisory experience, supervisor training and program evaluation
Extensive knowledge of foster care, Independent Living services, provider network development, family permanency, court dependency, and mental health services.
Preferred:
Master's degree in Social Work or Human Services
Certified Child Welfare Professional
Council on Accreditation reviewer
SKILLS:
Effective leadership, management and planning skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proficient in the use of Word and Excel
Ability to analyze, integrate and report data
Ability to interact with and maintain high morale among employees
Thorough knowledge of the operations aspects of Florida Safe Families Network (FSFN) and reports derived from FSFN & ARGOS.
Aptitude for reviewing data sets and understanding how variables influence data outcomes
Comprehensive understanding of the area’s system of care, Florida Administrative Code, Florida Statutes.
Demonstrate cultural and linguistic competence & sensitivity to population served
Ability to travel
SPECIAL CONDITIONS:
Thorough Background Screening upon hire including FBI, FDLE, Local Law check, Employment Reference check, DMV check, Criminal Records check, Social Security Trace & Drug Screening. FDLE check will be run at least every 5 years.
On-call assignments- Yes
Travel- local: 5% per week, long-distance: 1% per month
Attend at least 15 hours of in-service training annually
