Where do you fit?

To be a successful Associate Director of Development you must become able to do the following always:

Execute development department initiatives and achieve goals/outcomes.

Participate in an active travel schedule to call on current and prospective donors.

Properly communicate with donors/prospects by letter/email/phone.

Build a relationship with major donors through the development program including identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.

Cultivate a specific portfolio of donors and assist organization leadership in fostering appropriate donor stewardship practices.

Collaborate with fundraising staff.

Ensure donor/clients’ privacy rights are protected.

Participate in continuing education in fundraising.

Follow Company Policy and Procedure and operate according to the Company’s Program Practice Guidelines.
