We are currently seeking a skilled Diesel Technician who has a strong passion for the diesel industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience working with diesel engines and a passion for servicing tanks and trailers.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines
- Diagnose and repair engine issues
- Conduct tire service as needed
- Service air brakes and hydraulics
- Provide excellent customer service
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot problems
- Assemble and solder components as necessary
- Work on various diesel engine brands including Caterpillar
- Align and adjust engine components
- Welding, Servive and repair Tanks and Trailers
Experience
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- Previous experience as a Diesel Technician or Mechanic
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines and components
- Proficiency in air brake systems and hydraulics
- Ability to align engine components accurately
- Experience with soldering and assembling parts
- Welding
- Trailer and Tank repair
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Diesel Technician or similar role
- Certification in diesel mechanics is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
