Overview

Are you detail-oriented and passionate about numbers? Join our team as an Accounting Clerk and contribute to the smooth financial operations of our establishment. We are seeking an enthusiastic candidate who can assist with various accounting tasks, including accounts receivable/group billing. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. You will also work closely with events staff and sales staff to ensure proper billing statements and finalizing group bills efficiently and in a timely manner. 

Summary:

• Assist with accounts receivable processes
• Conduct data entry and maintain accurate financial records
• Prepare group billing statements and coordinate final bills to clients.
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to accounting principles and procedures
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks as needed

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
