Summary: The Concierge is responsible for providing attentive, courteous and efficient service to all residents / guests from arrival to departure. The main focus is to engage every guest in conversation and recognition, as well as resolve any guest issues immediately. The concierge is available to answer any guest inquiries regarding the city, events, and attractions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned by supervisor as needed.

  • Self-starting personality with an even disposition to effectively communicate with guests, team members and community.
  • Be familiar with and adhere to Legacy Ventures Service standards as outlined in the Blueprint and other policies / rules of conduct, to include personal appearance / grooming, attendance and safe / efficient operations.
  • Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service oriented manner.
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working.
  • Must demonstrate integrity, intelligence, judgement, a capacity to anticipate, loyalty, high energy level, a balanced ego and the drive to get things done.
  • Be familiar with and adhere to Legacy Ventures Service standards as outlined in the Blueprint and other policies / rules of conduct, to include personal appearance / grooming, attendance and safe / efficient operations.
  • Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Legacy Ventures standards, as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the property.
  • Coordinate special events or special projects as assigned
  • Arrange transportation needs for residents / guests
  • Responds to inquiries with accurate information regarding property and area features, services and assistance.
  • Provide information on the geographical area. Suggest site-seeing locations and arrange tours
  • Be familiar with all Legacy Ventures policies and rules of conduct.
  • Have knowledge of and assist in emergency procedures as required.

Marginal:

  • Ensure logging and delivery of packages, mail and messages as needed to residents / guests.
  • Use proper two-way radio etiquette at all times when communicating with other employees.
  • Attend meetings as required by management.
  • Perform any other duties as requested by management.
  • Provide basic security in and around the property.
  • Report any equipment failure to Engineering or Management.
  • Follow the Standard Operating Procedures for the property.
  • Perform any other job related duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience: College degree preferred. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other associates of the organization.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
