Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and empathetic Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to join our team at Embark Place. As a PCA, you will play a vital role in improving the lives of our clients through personalized care and assistance with daily activities. Responsibilities:

• Provide personalized care and support to clients, focusing on their physical and emotional well-being.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Engage clients in meaningful activities and conversations, promoting companionship and social interaction.
• Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Accompany clients on outings and medical appointments, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Maintain a clean and organized living environment for clients.
• Report any changes in clients' conditions to appropriate parties.
• Uphold Embark Place's values of compassion, respect, and integrity in all interactions.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant or in a similar caregiving role.
• Strong knowledge of best practices in providing personal care.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach.
• Physical ability to assist clients with mobility and personal hygiene.
• PSS certificate or higher certification is a plus.
