Embark at Atlanta North is growing! Embark Behavioral Health is looking for a fully licensed clinical therapist to join our outpatient clinic in Alpharetta. Come join our team of empathetic mental health professionals who are passionate about helping create joy and heal generations together! 

Our Behavioral Health Therapists provide individual, group and family therapy with manageable caseloads in a beautiful outpatient setting designed with teens and young adults in mind.

As an Embark Therapist, you will be supported by an experienced Clinical Director and Administrative Team that are all focused on the mission to facilitate lasting positive change for young people and their families at the OP, IOP and PHP levels of care. Come grow with us!

Embark operates facilities across the US that support adolescents, young adults and their families mental health and well-being by offering a full continuum of care from Long Term Residential and Wilderness Therapy environments to our IOP/PHP clinics to virtual outpatient care. Our local IOP & PHP clinics are a critical part of our strategy to increase access to life-saving mental health treatments for families with insurance.

Responsibilities

• Conducts individidual, group and family therapy in an IOP/PHP setting.
• Participates in multi-disciplinary clinical team meetings.
• Conducts intake assessments as required to support the admissions team.

Qualifications

• Minimum master's Degree in Behavioral Sciences - Social Work (MSW,) Clinical Social Work (CSW,) Clinical Mental Counseling (CMHC), Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or a related discipline.
• Full Clinical Licensure in the State of Georgia.
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LPC) or equivalent. 
• A desire to facilitate client growth through a team approach, working with other care providers.
• A desire to perform and develop counseling/therapeutic expertise in individual, family, and group therapy.
• Preferred -Two years of working experience as a licensed therapist leading individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
• Preferred - One year of experience using relational, experiential, and systemic modalities.
• Experience practicing DBT, TF-CBT and SMART Recovery a plus!
• Ability to plan, implement, and adjust a course of treatment as required.
• Ability to pass a state background check
