Overview:

We are looking for an energetic, friendly and knowledgeable part-time employee to join our team as an herbalist and retail associate to support our herbal and reflexology practice. Our ideal candidate has retail experience and has a background in herbal remedies, multivitamin supplements, and general health background. You will be responsible for providing herbal remedies and holistic health advice to our clients. Skills in patient service, anatomy and physiology knowledge, medical terminology, and patient assessment will be helpful in delivering high-quality care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide knowledgeable assistance to customers regarding herbal remedies, multivitamin supplements, and general health questions
• Handle daily retail operations, including answering phone calls and managing customer interactions with courtesy and professionalism
• Maintain an organized and welcoming store environment, ensuring product availability and accessibility
• Collaborate with the team to enhance customer satisfaction and store efficiency
• Prepare and dispense herbal remedies, including tinctures, teas, and capsules
• Educate clients on the proper use and dosage of herbal remedies
• Provide guidance on lifestyle modifications, including nutrition and stress management
• Maintain accurate client records and document treatment progress

Qualifications:

• Retail experience
• Background in herbal remedies or a general health-related field. Knowledge of herbal medicine and its applications.
• Certification or degree in Herbalism, Nutrition, or Acupuncture preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Effective communication skills to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
• Excellent patient service skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust
• Ability to work part-time

JOB TYPE:

This is a part time position and are looking for someone who is willing to work 7-10 hours a week, with potential to working 12-15 hours a week when we expand business hours of the store.

COMPENSATION: $23 per hour
