Wire Technician Details :
- Temporary position
- $ / hour
- Full Time work available
- First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07 : 30am to 04 : 00pm)
- Approximately 5-6 weeks
- Perform a variety of advanced level metal fabrication duties to assist in breakdown of precious metal material used for finished and die struck products
- Transfer materials to location specified within the process routing
- Perform lifting / positioning of metal for shearing operations in the raw stage
- Initial breakdown of raw billets to specific thickness
- Pre-finishing of billet utilized for jobs within precision tolerances specified by the process routing
- Production setups wire drawing sequence, power turk roll changes, 4-hio
- Perform advanced mathematical calculations material requirements, process yields, process routings
- Adhere to precise specified finished gauge tolerances
Wire Technician Qualifications :
- Mathematical aptitude
- Ability to use measuring devices such as, scales, calipers, gauges
- Good hand / eye coordination
- Must be able to lift up to 25lbs with regularity and in excess of 50-75lbs on occasion
- Basic comprehension of metallurgical properties
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
