Our client, a leading general contractor based in Sacramento , CA, is seeking a talented and experienced Construction Estimator with 5-7 years of experience working on retail and restaurant projects .
As a Recruitment Partner, we are working closely with our client to identify the right candidate for this critical role, and we're excited to bring this opportunity to you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately estimate construction costs for commercial projects.
- Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and related documents.
- Prepare detailed budgets, cost estimates and schedules.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify and resolve issues.
- Manage the estimating process from conception to completion.
- Review and analyze subcontractor quotes.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience in construction estimating.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies and materials.
- Experience with computer-aided estimating software, such as Bluebeam and Procore.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects at once.
