Pharmacy Technician – Full Time,

Elmwood Pharmacy & Home Medical Equipment is accepting applications for a top notch, full time, Registered/Certified, Pharmacy Tech. Our locally owned, rapidly growing, independent pharmacy has been in business for over 27 years and we are in need of a quality tech to continue to provide excellent service to our customers. The Pharmacy Technician must be flexible to work 8 hour shifts, Monday–Friday between 8am and 7pm and an occasional shorter shift between 830am and 230pm on Saturdays. The schedule will rotate to accommodate staffing needs.

Job Functions:

• Pharmacy technician performs pharmacy-related functions under direction of pharmacist
• Utilize, update and maintain data in pharmacy computer systems
• Order prescription merchandise from specified vendors
• Process Third Party transactions and related rejections
• Pharmacy tech will fill and package medications in unit dose/multi dose packaging using automation.
• Receive and process daily inventory order
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position and comply with all company, state and federal policies and procedures
• Pharmacy tech will be prompt, tactful, calm, courteous and professional in all interactions.

Requirements:

Nebraska Board of Pharmacy - Must be registered by the State of Nebraska as a Pharmacy Technician upon hire and as a certified pharmacy technician. If you were registered as a Pharmacy Technician as of January 1, 2016, you must be certified upon hire. If you were first registered after January 1, 2016, you must be certified within one year from the registration date.

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Pharmacy technician: 1 year (Preferred)
• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Pharmacy Technician License (Required)
• PTCB Certification (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Omaha, NE 68106: Relocate before starting work (Required)
