As a Delivery Courier, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our farmers' market by facilitating the timely and secure delivery of fresh produce, artisanal goods, and other products. You will be responsible for transporting items between vendors, customers, and storage areas, contributing to the overall success of the market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with vendors to collect and deliver products to designated locations within the farmers' market.
• Ensure timely and efficient delivery schedules to meet customer and vendor expectations.
• Develop a basic understanding of the various products sold at the market to assist in the identification and handling of goods.
• Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner during deliveries, providing assistance and information as needed.
• Assist in managing and organizing the logistics of the market, including the setup and breakdown of stalls and the efficient flow of products.
• Maintain the quality and integrity of products during transportation, ensuring that they reach customers in the same condition as when received from vendors.
• Communicate effectively with vendors, market organizers, and customers to address any issues, changes in schedules, or special requests.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as any market-specific guidelines, while handling and transporting products.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift and carry moderately heavy loads.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with the local area and traffic patterns.
• Customer service-oriented with a positive attitude.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
