Elmet Technologies is seeking a Maintenance Technician
Requirements of the Maintenance Technician

• Minimum 2-year Electro-Mechanical experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Understanding of complex mechanical/electrical functional relationships
• Knowledge of and ability to perform math functions or proficiency in basic shop math skills.
• Practical understanding of PLC functionality and diagnostics
• Able to read and interpret all forms of blueprints, drawings, electrical schematics, or sketches.
• Able to perform basic computer functions including, document maintenance data, and Microsoft programs.

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician:

• Operates all conventional or general, electrical, pneumatic, hand tools, or measuring devices.
• Learns how to operate, special purpose or new hand tools, pneumatic or electric tools or measuring devices.
• Constructs and assembles basic mechanical and electrical parts as per instructions, sketches, electrical schematics or blueprints.
• Performs basic or complex repairs, construct, or assemble mechanical or electrical parts or aids as per drawings or instructions.
• Operates, maintains, repairs, troubleshoots, and installs all types of new or existing machines, devices, or tooling.
• Perform basic computer functions including, document maintenance data entry and report generation.
• Performs electrical diagnostics and repairs as well as mechanical diagnostics and repairs to production equipment.
• Performs other duties as required.
