INTERNAL POSTING ONLY. NO RELOCATION PROVIDED.We have an internal promotion opportunity for a Plant Manager in Horsham, PA. The Plant Manager will oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth functioning of the PA facility. Responsibilities include coordinating manufacturing activities, managing production targets, and maintaining quality standards. Responsible for smooth functioning of the PA production system and paint shop as well as assembly operations
Work closely with the planning function to arrive at realistic and achievable production schedules geared towards meeting customer commitment.
Assign production resources to execute the detailed weekly and daily (work centers) plan.
Responsible for development and implementation of activities in production area to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives.
Ensure all operators and assembly techs are disciplined in clocking in and out of work orders.
Monitor schedules and manpower productivity.
Prioritize production schedules based on deadlines, manpower availability and material supply.
Plan and administer procedures for assembly, integration, and test. Select and develop personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the PA assembly, integration, and testing functions.
Make budgetary recommendations on equipment and direct/indirect labor.

Qualities:

Proven management and leadership skills
Knowledge of systems assembly, integration and testing production activities including machining, welding, and paint.
Ability to work in a high-pressure ecosystem involving mixed model flow in a high mix low volume environment.
Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings, Bills of Materials for complex mechanical and electromechanical assemblies.
Ability to estimate assembly timings.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Conversant with use of computers and the ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics or equivalent)
Working knowledge of MS office (Word and Excel)
Natural ability in conflict management is an added plus.
Ability to be a team player

Education:
Graduate degree in business or similar field of study or minimum 15 years of experience involving complex systems assembly, integration and testing.
