• Assist the Planner/Scheduler with planning and scheduling of production orders to meet contractual delivery dates
• Provide administrative support to the Planner/Scheduler by creating production document packages
• Duties include input and governance of data that details the process for distributing production, work, and shipment schedules
• Perform forward and backward scheduling per MRP action as rescheduling is needed
• Investigate material availability as needed to support the planning decision making process
• Provide estimated ship dates and feedback to Sales team and operation functions on a regular basis
• Follow up to ensure commit and delivery dates are maintained
• Provide backup support to Planner/Scheduler when needed
• All other duties as assigned

• Strong analytical skills, organizational skills, and culture of attention to detail
• Production and Processing - Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, capacity planning, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacturing and distribution of goods
• Demonstrated ability to adapt, be flexible, be resourceful and maintain enthusiasm and focus under demands of a fast paced, multi-cultural, and often changing environment
• Strong interpersonal and team skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under time constraints
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Computer literate with experience in MS Office, specifically MS Excel and other database programs
• Ability to effectively interface with various departments like Sales, Warehouse, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality
• Good understanding of MRP system and functions capabilities

• Bachelor's degree preferred from an accredited university of college, or equivalent of 4 years minimum experience directly related to productions planning/scheduling in a manufacturing environment
