Duties

·Direct nursing care with excellence in assessment skills, identification of potentialproblems,collaboratingwithdisciplines,administeringtreatment and evaluating outcomes.

·Report all significant changes of resident condition to primary care physiciansandresidents’familiesand/ordesignatedPOA’sandguardiansin a timely manner.

·Reporttooncomingshiftscompletelyandconciselywithoutlineddetail with what needs to be followed through.

·Identifyareasofconcernthatneedtobecommunicatedtoyournursing supervisor or Director of Nursing.

·Documentationofnursingnotesmustbecomplete,concise,informativeand descriptive and reflect a resident’s condition.

·Overviewofallnursingsupportcaretoensurethatitisdoneadequatelyand according to resident choice and wishes.

Requirements

·Mustpossessacurrent,unencumberedlicensetopracticeasanRNorLPN in the state of Maine.

·Mustbephysicallyabletodothejobeffectivelyforyourscheduledshift.

·Mustbeabletoworkindependentlyandpossessleadershipandsupervisory skills.

·Mustbeabletocommunicateeffectivelytoallpersonssurroundedinthe quality of life of each of your residents.
