Ellumen is Hiring a SecDevOps Lead Near Silver Spring, MD
Successful candidate will support the product management, planning, development, maintenance, security, and transition while complying with all Federal and DHS standards, policies, and procedures. Communication with the Product Owner, Program Manager, the project team, and other stakeholders to research, design, architect, engineer, document, and maintain the platform is paramount.
US citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain federal clearance. (DHS Active clearance preferred)
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with SDD teams on infrastructure and cloud need to include researching, developing, and enhancing SecDevOps monitoring tools and processes.
- Actively seek knowledge and understanding of industry trends, innovative technologies, software development methods and tools to continuously improve and evolve the product architecture, user experience, and Agile development and SecDevOps practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, support contractors, and third-party vendors throughout system integration, performance, security, Section 508, system acceptance, user acceptance, usability, and test and evaluation reporting.
- Drive a plain language content strategy to facilitate an easy-to-understand user experience for all users.
- Foster the use of Agile practices within teams to enable delivery of deployable software security within specified times.
- Actively participate in design sessions, sprint ceremonies and cross functional and integration team meetings.
- Collaborate with team members and integration partners to develop new features.
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience initiating and maintaining security measures for responsive web application development for federal clients..
- US citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain federal clearance. (DHS Active clearance preferred)
- Bachelor's degree and five years of experience in a similar role
