Ellsworth Square Apartments is Hiring a Maintenance Technician Near Salem, OR
We are seeking an energetic, motivated individual to join our team at Ellsworth and La Palms Apartments as a Property Maintenance Technician.
Pay is $25 - $27 (total compensation) an hour DOE.
On-site PRE-Tax stabilized housing as part of your total compensation(no more paying yearly rent increases).
Eligible for Kaiser Permanente Medical and Dental and 401K after probational period.
In this role, you will address common maintenance issues across multiple properties, performing repairs and installations as well as recommending subcontractors for serious infrastructural projects. You must be able to address a host of common property issues, such as painting, minor electrical and plumbing repairs, fixture installation, and property upkeep. Our ideal candidate has at least three years maintenance experience, along with reliable transportation and on call availability.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Respond to maintenance requests
Perform routine and scheduled maintenance across multiple properties
Fix aesthetic damage after tenants move out
Contact third-party technicians when necessary
Document all repairs made on our properties
Perform repairs, installations of fixtures and appliances, and replacement of damaged systems
Maintain grounds cleanliness
Be on-call to respond to emergency issues
Requirements and Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED certificate
Building maintenance experience
Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
Physical ability to bend, crouch, and lift objects throughout the workday
Experience with a variety of basic home maintenance disciplines
Customer service skills
