The utility is responsible for the ongoing production support areas they are assigned to on a day-to-day basis; including assisting mixer operators, oven operators, seal-out, washroom, pre-weigh ingredients, icing, and trash/recycling.
Job Responsibilities:
- Pre-weighing and preparing raw baking ingredients.
- Seal out boxed cookie products with correct labeling for warehouse storage and shipping.
- Work with equipment on icing products.
- Manage trash and recycling duties of assigned areas.
- Maintain the washroom in a manner that meets all food safety requirements.
- Clean production equipment following established Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOPs).
- Accurately and legibly maintain cleaning records.
- Ensure that all utensils, equipment, and work area are maintained cleanly and safely.
- Collect all recyclable materials and combine them appropriately.
- Follow all:
- Company Policies.
- Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Food Safety Management System Policies and Procedures.
- Sanitation Procedures.
- Safety Procedures.
- Assist Mixer Operators in getting required ingredients as needed.
- Assist Oven Operators in change-overs as needed.
- Assist other areas of production as needed.
- Effectively communicate all relevant information to other production shifts and employees.
- Immediately report any food safety and quality problems to management.
- Safety glasses.
- Water hose.
- Cleaning chemicals and foamer.
- Heavy machinery.
- 3rd Shift 11:30 pm - 8:00 am.
- Overtime and weekends may be required depending on production load and co-worker attendance.
