Summary:We are seeking a talented and motivated X-Ray Tech to join our expanding team. As an X-Ray Tech you will have the opportunity to work closely with our lab manager and contribute to our ongoing research efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proficient in performing X-ray(s)
- Prepare lab and take-down at the end of the shift
- Receive and handle human specimens according to specific instructions
- Demonstrate physical capabilities, including the ability to bend, stand for extended periods, and lift heavy objects (up to 60lbs, including cadavers)
- Flexibility to work Saturdays
- Prepare samples and specimens for testing, utilizing a wide range of laboratory equipment
- Adhere strictly to proper procedures, policies, and health and safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and sterility of equipment, work areas, and perform necessary maintenance tasks
- ARRT Certification (Preferred)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Familiarity with laboratory environments
- Ideally, 2-5years of experience working in a laboratory and working with X-Rays
