Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Expeditor to join our team. The Expeditor will be responsible for providing documentation, material coordination, and support to our inside sales department. Candidate will support the overall branch sales strategy through efficient and timely responses to internal and external customers, establishes and maintain superior customer and vendor relationships to ensure customer satisfaction, and ensure products are billed accurately. Contacts and negotiates with vendors for special terms and pricing for supplies and materials regarding quoted projects. Perform appropriate expediting functions to ensure material is shipped by vendor and received by customer in the agreed-upon time frame. Communicates scheduling and shipping date changes with customer and sales staff. Develops and maintains effective working relationships with various vendor representatives. analyzing and expediting orders, ensuring timely delivery to customers. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, and have experience in technical sales.

• Minimum 2 years of supply chain, production, and process improvement experience
• Proficient in MS Office and other software ERP systems
• Outstanding written and oral communications skills
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Detail-oriented and analytical
• Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
