We are looking for an RN to work as our Care Coordinator/QA/Risk Manager.

This is a multi-layered unique position with several different responsibilities.

The Risk Manager is responsible for ongoing risk management activities. They attend appropriate Risk Management meetings and chairs the Risk committee. Assists with practitioner, personnel and consumer grievances. Handles issues by consultation with appropriate personnel, as expediently as possible. Reviews all incident/occurrence forms submitted through online QDC and then investigate as needed. Required to take call on a week rotational basis.

For Quality Assurance, applicant is responsible for the Ellinwood Hospital and Clinic planning, administration and monitoring of consistent readiness of all quality management, regulatory requirements, quality improvements processes and risk management.

As a Case Manager/ Utilization Review Nurse, provides clinical care coordination of hospital patients, monitors patient progress, coordinates with physician to ensure patients are treated at appropriate level of care, provides clinical reviews to insurance, and provides transitional planning for post hospitalization care. This position serves as a resource on case management issues to physicians and nursing staff.
