Ellie Mental Health - East Bay, CA is Hiring a Remote Clinic Director

Seeking a self-starter and community-focused leader to run a new, locally-owned outpatient mental health care clinic
Would you like the freedom of running a clinic without the upfront costs and administrative headaches that come with owning your own practice? This is your opportunity to oversee Ellie Mental Health clinics in the East Bay, CA. At Ellie, we combine the best of two worlds: we provide the safety, security and support of a large organization, while offering the creativity, flexibility and compensation you would receive at a private practice.
Our Company
Transforming the culture of mental health is what Ellie is all about. The mental health industry is full of barriers, and we’ve made it our goal to find innovative ways to break down these barriers for the communities we serve, while creating an employment model that prioritizes creativity, culture and compensation. Ellie strives to keep the administrative aspects of providing care to the absolute minimum so clinicians have more time to focus on what they love - helping clients!
Ellie Mental Health was proudly founded in 2015 by Erin Pash, LMFT, and Kyle Keller, LICSW, on the principle of destigmatizing mental health. After opening several Ellie clinics in Minneapolis, Erin and Kyle wanted to bring their vision of expanding access to quality mental health care to communities nationwide. To do this, they began using a franchise model to grow the number of Ellie locations throughout the United States. Since then, Ellie has expanded to over 250 locations in 26 states, with over 85 new locations opening this year. Ellie now serves California communities through locally owned and operated franchise locations.
Let’s change the future of mental health in our local community together.
The Opportunity
As a Clinic Director at Ellie Mental Health, you will share our vision for improving and expanding access to quality mental health care and thrive in an environment driven by our core values of authenticity, humor, compassion, creativity, acceptance, and determination. You, your team of clinicians and your clients will meet in a comforting, home-like environment, providing a space for clients to feel safe and express themselves freely.
The Clinic Director will be responsible for the overall performance and operation of two practice locations composed of approximately 10-12 professional outpatient clinicians each. This includes hiring and recruiting passionate, unique, and fun-loving clinicians; managing clinic performance and client satisfaction; providing training and ongoing developmental support; and building community partnerships. By being part of the Ellie Fam, you will have access to a nationwide network of clinic leaders and live trainings to provide peer connectivity and support your professional development. This includes an extensive library of CEU trainings at no cost to clinicians. You will also have the opportunity to maintain a reasonable client caseload, including having the flexibility to choose your own clients with the help of our proprietary client/clinician matching tool.
