Ellie has arrived at the Jersey Shore, and we are looking for passionate Clinical Therapists to join our team!
We just opened our first (of two) clinic in Monmouth County and are looking for Clinical Therapists who share our passion for improving and expanding access to quality mental health care and will thrive in a culture that emphasizes: autonomy, flexibility, creativity, authenticity, humor, compassion, acceptance, and determination.
About Ellie – Ellie Mental Health is a successful, nationwide mental health franchise network headquartered in Minnesota. The Ellie model focuses on flexibility, innovative decision-making, creativity, and putting our people first. Ellie is structured to remove many of the daily obstacles that get in the way of providing world-class mental health services, including centralized support for inquiries, scheduling, client/therapist matching, insurance contracting, billing and collections. We want our practitioners to focus on what they love - serving clients!
Position Overview
Responsibilities include:
  • Evaluate mental health diagnosis, create, and implement a treatment plan, complete ongoing documentation including further diagnosis, treatment plan reviews, and case notes according to company policy
  • Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community
  • Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals
  • Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session per company guidelines and protocol
  • For Full-Time status clinicians must maintain a caseload of a minimum of 25 client visits per week
  • Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed
  • Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings
Required Qualifications and Skills:
  • Candidates are required to have a master’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university and on track to obtain licensure in their designated field
  • Candidates should have clinical licensure (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, etc.)
  • Required experience with completing DAs, treatment plans and clinical case notes
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
  • Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner
  • Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base
  • Proficient in the use of Office 365 and Electronic Health Record systems (Valant experience a plus!)
  • Fully Licensed Clinicians will ideally be credentialed with insurance panels.
Compensation and Benefits
  • The Ellie model combines base pay plus a generous commission to deliver an above-market, competitive salary ($70K to $85K). The employee can set their work-life balance which determines their total compensation. The commission rate is a function of experience.
  • We provide Horizon BC BS medical insurance plus dental and vision care. 401K and profit sharing plans are being developed.
  • We are flexible with work-from-home as long as you meet the 25 client visits per week minimum. Limited tele-health appointments are allowed, plus admin/documentation time can be from home.
  • Training and advancement are provided and encouraged.
