This is an opportunity to informally lead a site/location based team in partnership with Regional Clinic Director and Franchise Owner to drive KPIs in support of positive impacts for our clinicians and members of the community seeking high quality, differentiated mental health services. Lead Therapist Based Responsibilities and Duties (Could also be acting Clinical Supervisor of Pre-Licensed Staff as Well)
Up to 4 hours a week with established open office hours slots to accommodate different walk in, email or IM requests. These would be established in EHR tool and communicated to therapists at the respective location.
This time would serve as a site based point of contact for items such as clinician productivity, unrecorded/unsigned notes/treatment plans/intake paperwork, balance or ledger related questions, training needs, orientation follow up questions, clinical consultation, or other on site needs.
Up to 1 hour a week for running Valant reports for clinicians at the respective location surround unsigned/unrecorded documents (including notes, treatment plans, & intake paperwork) and clinician productivity.
Send unsigned document reports weekly to ensure they are meeting 24 hour turnaround for progress notes, 36 hour turnaround time for intakes, and ensure team is obtaining signed client paperwork ahead or at the start of intake session (only when EMR challenges are faced by client) weekly.
Send current week and upcoming two week productivity numbers to ensure clinician awareness/visibility of goal to schedule 30-32 to ensure 27 clients a week targets are met. Would include copying Clinical Supervisor for provisionally licensed staff, where applicable.
*Any consistent trends or escalations should be communicated to Clinical Director for added leadership and support where needed.
Clinician Based Responsibilities and Duties
Evaluate mental health diagnosis, create and implement a treatment plan, complete ongoing documentation including further diagnosis, treatment plan reviews, and case notes according to company policy
For Full-Time status Lead Therapist clinicians must maintain a caseload of a minimum of 22 client visits per week (i.e. schedule 27 to see 22)
Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community
Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals
Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session per company guidelines and protocol
Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed
Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings

Required Qualifications and Skills
Candidates are required to have a master’s degree or higher in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university
Candidates are required to have clinical licensure (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) with a valid state of Missouri License
Must be licensed and/or eligible to be a Missouri Board Approved Clinical Supervisor
Ability and eligibility to supervise up to three provisionally licensed therapists for licensure (PLPC, LMSW, or PLMFTs)
Required experience with completing DAs, treatment plans and clinical case notes
Required experience with children, adolescents and teens
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner
Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base
Proficient in the use of typical office technology (computers, e-mail, etc.) and Electronic Health Record systems
Ability to pass a background check
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
Preferred experience with children, individuals, couples or families
Ideal candidates will have a general knowledge of therapy services, community resources, insurance billing, and previous experience with mental health documentation
