Job Summary:

Renal Management, an Independent Dialysis Company on the Southside of Atlanta, is looking for an outstanding candidate to fill the position of Account Manager/Controller. The candidate will be responsible for

Directing the financial affairs of the company and prepares financial analyses of operations. Responsible for the company’s financial plans and policies, its accounting policies, procedures and practices, its relationship with lending institutions, maintenance and security of its financial records and preparation of financial reports.

Essential Functions:

• Establish and oversee company’s accounting principles, practices and procedures.

• Establish and oversee company’s financial plans and policies.

• Maintain all companies accounting systems including the integrity of the balance sheet accounts and ensure the accuracy of the income statement accounts.

• Maintain and monitor record of company assets and depreciation.

• Produce and evaluate monthly and annual financial reports.

• Obtain and oversee financing for development of additional dialysis clinics, operations, special projects, etc.

• Monitor and maintain all company bank accounts by making all deposits, disbursements and perform monthly balancing.

• Monitor cash balances in all company bank accounts to ensure adequate funds to cover company financial obligations.

• Oversee company’s compliance with federal, state and local tax laws; and all other regulatory guidelines.

• Prepare reports as needed detailing cash management/revenue projections.

• Process all accounts payable transactions and ensure that each is coded to appropriate account and charged to proper cost center.

• Responsible for overseeing and maintaining insurance coverage for all properties and liability insurance coverage for physicians, physician extenders and health care workers.

• Supervise dialysis and private practice Accounts Receivable Manager and Billing Specialists.

• Monitor dialysis and private practice billing and account receivable balances and ensure compliance with company’s policies and procedures.

• Develop, implement and oversee accounts receivable policy and procedures for dialysis clinics and private practice.

• Analyze, develop and maintain dialysis cost per treatment data.
• Prepare and submit Medicare cost report.

• Oversee electronic purchase order system.

• Prepare budgets, implement analysis techniques.

• Serve as Corporate Treasurer for all corporations.

• Reconcile Centricity accounts receivable collections to revenue in accounting system.

• Reconcile inter company balances.

• Serve as company liaison with contracted CPA.

Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications

• BA, BS in Accounting or Bachelor of Business Administration

• Five plus years experience in accounting, financial management
• Healthcare experience preferred
• Excellent computer skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
• Knowledge of principles of healthcare billing and reimbursement
• Proficient in Quick Books and E-Clinical
• Knowledge of claim requirements of third party insurance companies, Medicare and Medicaid
