  • Associates Degree or completion of technical specialty programs of 18 months- 3 years duration required; 1-2 years' experience in related field preferred
  • Knowledge of and ability to read, interpret and apply state and local zoning and building codes, maps, and county geography
  • Ability to competently serve the public with diplomacy and respect, including occasional encounters with irate/hostile persons
  • Valid driver's license; must be 18 years of age
  • Excellent organizational, communication skills and a sound knowledge of office procedures and practices
