Days & Hours: Monday through Sunday - average 5 hour shifts / 4-5 shifts per week / 9:00am - 2:00pm & 4:00pm - 8:00pm 
Starting at: $15.00 per hour (Also includes some Park District Facility/Program Usage Benefits)

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for day to day operations of park rides. Responsible for interactions with customers.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Perform all duties as directed by Park Manager or Theme Park Coordinator.
• Follow all operating procedures for the park rides.
• Courteous to park guests and park team.
• May have to wear a costume.
• Must greet each customer in line.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Performs the job safely and in compliance with district policies, procedures, work and safety rules.
• Be familiar with the safe operation of any equipment necessary in accomplishing required tasks.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Able to demonstrate maturity in dealing with the general public in matters of public safety.
• Congeniality, outgoing personality.
• Good knowledge of pertinent safety precautions.
• Ability to maintain positive and effective working relationships with other employees.
• Works in a wide range of climates, which can include rain, high humidity, extreme heat and cold.
• Physical agility to standing and bending for long periods of time.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school.
