POSITIONS: SHORT-TERM INTERIM PROJECT ON-TRACK MATH TUTOR (Through the end of the 23/24 school year).

OVERVIEW OF PROJECT ON-TRACK MATH PROGRAM:
With Covid creating a major issue in the field of education the state saw lower proficiency, specifically in math and in early reading. This impacted low-income students, those with disabilities, and English learners more than other students, and widened existing achievement gaps as students who were already not proficient were more likely to see grade level mastery decline over this 18-month period, the state of Tennessee, Project On-Track Tutors were hired in each district to work with at-risk students
Structured tutoring programs have been proven to significantly increase student achievement when done in a tightly managed and clearly defined program, including consistency, quality materials, and well-trained tutors.
