Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Custodian to join our team. The Custodian will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order within our facilities, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for all occupants. At the direction of a school principal, maintenance supervisor, head custodian or department director, supports the educational efforts of our students by maintaining and cleaning district buildings, schools and grounds as assigned. Will be required to provide support for high school graduation and other school and district events, and may be required to work on weekends or on other days, shifts and hours as directed.

Duties:
- Perform industrial cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting
- Maintain and clean floors through buffing, waxing, and polishing
- Handle custodial duties including trash removal and restocking supplies
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and address maintenance needs
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed
- Follow proper procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment

Skills:
- Experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and waxing
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment effectively
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
- Good physical condition to handle the demands of the job
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices is a plus

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
