TITLE: Speech Therapist
QUALIFICATIONS:
A New Jersey Certificate with appropriate endorsement.
AUTHORITY AND RELATIONSHIP:
Responsible to the Director of Special Services and to the building principal
and/or appropriately certified supervisory personnel as may be designated by the . Superintendent of Schools.
BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION:
To assess students in order to determine speech and/or language disorders. To provide them with speech and/or language therapy in order to remediate the deficiencies.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Within the approved limits of authority and in compliance with all applicable rules, regulations and policies of the Elizabeth Board of Education and the
New Jersey Administrative Code, the Speech Therapist is responsible for
