TOOL CRIB ATTENDANT
MUST HAVE: Inventory type experience and Microsoft Office (Excel)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Tool Crib Attendant. As a Tool Crib Attendant, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our tool and supply inventory, ensuring that tools are properly stored, issued, and returned. This is a vital role in our organization, as it ensures that our employees have the necessary tools to perform their jobs effectively.
Duties:
- Manage the tool crib inventory, including receiving, inspecting, and storing tools
- Issue tools to employees based on their needs and ensure proper documentation
- Maintain accurate records of tool transactions and inventory levels
- Perform regular audits to ensure tool availability and identify any discrepancies
- Collaborate with various departments to understand tool requirements and anticipate future needs
- Coordinate with vendors for tool repairs and replacements
- Maintain a clean and organized tool crib area
- Provide exceptional customer service to employees seeking assistance with tools
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in shipping/receiving or retail preferred
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate record keeping
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) when necessary
We offer competitive pay rates and benefits packages for our employees. This is a full-time position with regular working hours Monday through Friday.
