We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Insurance Verification and Precertification Specialist to join our dynamic healthcare team. As an Insurance Verification & Precertification Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely verification of insurance coverage for patients. Your primary responsibility will be to gather and verify insurance information, communicate with insurance providers, and work closely with other healthcare professionals to facilitate seamless billing processes. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of insurance policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Verify patient insurance information for accuracy and completeness.
• Communicate with insurance providers to confirm coverage and benefits.
• Maintain organized documentation of verification activities.
• Collaborate with precertification and billing team for seamless authorization and claims submission.
• Resolve insurance-related issues and denials proactively.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in healthcare insurance verification.
• Experience in Workers Compensation ( NY and NJ)
• Experience in Personal Injury, Slip and Fall, LOP cases.
• Familiarity with various insurance plans.
• Proficient in electronic health records and insurance verification software.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Education and Certification:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification in medical billing or healthcare administration is a plus.
