Our Client in the Murfreesboro Market is hiring immediately for a FORKLIFT OPERATOR!
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 2:30pm - 11:00pm
Job Summary and Purpose
The Material Handler-Forklift Operator receives shipments and facilitates the flow of merchandise through the distribution process to storage or retail locations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receives merchandise off delivering carriers into distribution centers
- Confirms shipment ownership.
- Palletizes or categorizes cartons into desired groupings for sorting or price ticketing
- Loads/Unloads product with Forklift
- Stages pallets with Forklift.
- WILL NOT BE on Forklift 100% of the time!
Qualifications and Experience:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent is preferred
- Minimum of 6 months of Forklift Experience in a Distribution Center setting.
- Must be able to read and write in English language.
- Must be able to lift up to 40lbs.
- Must be able to work in a Team Environment
