Duties:
- Perform quality inspections on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure product specifications are met
- Collect and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Conduct visual inspections to identify any defects or abnormalities
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Quality/Layout Technician or similar role required
- Must show proficiency in the use of precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and other metrology equipment
- Blueprint reading and basic understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing principles and their application
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately interpret technical specifications
- Knowledge of quality control principles and practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
