Elite Physical Therapy & Wellness Center (EPTWC) is a well respected full service out-patient orthopedic manual therapy clinic that provides exceptional physical therapy for a variety of orthopedic, sports, and performing arts injuries, and surgeries by utilizing the latest techniques with a wellness approach. Patient population includes ages 8 to active seniors. We also provide in-house and backstage PT for Broadway shows and Dancers of all levels and ages. Physical Therapy office in Upper Georgetown/Glover Park, Washington DC seeking PT Tech/Patient Coordinator.

You will have direct interaction with the patient and their care as directed by a Licensed Physical Therapist. Some of the technician duties include assisting Physical Therapist with exercise supervision, setting up equipment, assistance with patient flow, clerical tasks as it relates to tracking the patient care, create exercise sheets, and other duties as assigned. Room set-up including cleaning and prepping the treatment rooms and the gym for each patient, insure safe and proper assistive patient mobility in and around the clinic, maintain optimal levels of supplies throughout the clinic are additional requirements of the position

Must be computer savvy with Microsoft Office Suite, EMR systems and using scheduling software; customer service oriented; able to multitask and function under pressure.

Patient Coordinator duties also include patient scheduling, collection of payments, medical chart filing, insurance processing, and other duties as assigned. Also, assisting with patient intake and flow; insurance verification; posting co pays and other payment; assisting the director and billing manager with other clinic related functions.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 34 per week
