-Facilitate age appropriate and developmental activities.
-Plan and take the child to activities outside the home.
-Keep the child play areas tidy.
-Must be comfortable with parents who work from home.
-Avoid screen time with the child.
-Not open to applicants that need to bring their child.
What They’re Looking for in a Nanny
The family is looking for a career nanny with experience in early childhood development and a passion for helping children reach their developmental goals.
The ideal nanny would be someone who takes the child on outings, plays with her, but also encourages independent play, and can creatively come up with ideas for developmentally appropriate activities in and out of the home.
Would love to find a nanny that can stay with them for 18-24 months.
Benefits and Pay
The family will provide 4 weeks PTO that can be used for vacation while the family is traveling as well as 1 week PTO that can be used when the nanny chooses.
The family will provide 3 paid sick or personal days
The following 6 Holidays will be paid if they land on the nannies scheduled work days:
Memorial Day
Independence Day
Labor Day
Thanksgiving
Christmas Day
New Year’s Day
Applicant Requirements
-Minimum of 4 years of professional nanny experience
-Up to date on CPR and First Aid certification
-3 Professional references
-Must be fully vaccinated against the Flu, Covid and Tdap, MMR, and chickenpox before start date.
Schedule
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 9-5 plus 3 hours during the evening or weekend.

About the Child
The family has 1 daughter who is nearly 18 months old.
She is very outgoing and social. She is very active, loves playing outside - climbing, sliding and exploring. She is very independent and confident. She isn't a super cuddly toddler. She has travelled with us and slept in new places, so she adapts easily to new situations, and generally doesn't show fear of new places and faces.
About Mom
I'm a business manager for a tech company, working remotely. I'm Croatian/Serbian, but I moved to Australia when I was young. I love traveling, exploring new neighborhoods and spending time with family and friends.
About Dad
Dad is also Australian. He's a mechatronics engineer, currently working as a software engineering manager. Dad also works remotely. G18mo is daddy's girl, and the two of them have a lot of fun playing together.
Parenting Style
We are very easy-going and try to let G18mo explore freely, while of course ensuring she remains safe. She goes out to restaurants with us, eats what we eat, travels with us. We try to balance letting her express her needs and wants with setting boundaries, which isn't always easy.
