We have partnered with our client to recruit a skilled Fabrication Manager to oversee our manufacturing processes and ensure the efficient production of high-quality products. The ideal candidate will have expertise in blueprint reading, sheet metal fabrication, and welding techniques.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Produce Stainless Steel Spools, OEM Water Treatment Equipment, and Assemblies efficiently maximizing profits while maintaining the highest quality and never compromising safety.
• Supervise and schedule weekly work a Team of Fabricators (Fitters, Welders, Assembly, etc.) to meet Customer On Time Delivery with daily communications to Project Managers of the current production Schedule.
• Manage and Maintain the Facility and Equipment to minimize downtime and setup in advance to seamlessly transition fabricators to the next project with adequate materials, workspace, instructions, and tools.
• Train, uphold, and implement the latest in Safety Training for all members and perform disciplinary actions as required to create a safe work environment and attitude.
• Utilize the ERP system to organize work and report all work times to Meet or Beat the Estimated Hours for all Fabrication Work through Effective and Efficient work practices, 5S, LEAN and Kaizen principles. Responsible for managing consumable supplies and control over-all costs monthly to maintain production costs.
• Train or Facilitate Training for all fabricators in production skills; welding, fitting pipe, building steel frames, reading blueprints, quality control methods, etc.
• Development and Implementation of Continuous Improvement Projects.

Qualifications and Required Skills:

• 10 Year Experience Managing a Fabrication Shop for Piping, Skids, and Assembly.
• 10 Years Experience Maintaining a Shop Facility 50,000 SFT.
• Experience in Quality Control including NDE – Dye Penetrant and Hydro Testing.
• Blueprint Reading, Detailing, and able to generate Cut Lists and Buy Lists.
• Pipe Fitting and Welding Stainless Steel Pipe to ASME B31.3.
• Fitting and Welding Steel Frames and Skids to AWS D1.1.
• Proficient in ERP systems and MS OFFICE (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).
