Job Description:

As a caregiver, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily activities, providing companionship, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of others.

Responsibilities:

• Personal Care: Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Meal Preparation: Preparing nutritious meals and ensuring dietary requirements are met.
• Medication Reminders: Administering medications as prescribed.
• Companionship: Engaging in meaningful conversations and providing emotional support.
• Light Housekeeping: Keeping the client’s living space tidy and organized.
• Mobility Assistance: Assisting with walking, transfers, and mobility aids.
• Transportation: Accompanying clients to appointments or social outings (if required).

Qualifications:

• Compassion: A genuine desire to help others and provide compassionate care.
• Reliability: Punctuality and commitment to scheduled shifts.
• Communication Skills: Ability to listen actively and communicate effectively.
• Physical Stamina: Caregiving can be physically demanding; applicants should be able to lift and assist clients as needed.
• Experience: Prior experience as a caregiver is preferred but not mandatory.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license (if transportation duties are involved).
• Successful completion of a background check.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain- we can assist you with this and we will pay for certification).

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
