Job Description: Collections Specialist

Reports To: Credit Manager

Assignment Focus: We are looking for an experienced and motivated Collections Specialist to join our team. The Collections Specialist will be responsible for managing and collecting outstanding accounts receivables from our multi-family clients.

Primary Responsibilities

• Monitor accounts on a daily basis, analyze trends and margins
• Identify and collect on outstanding accounts receivables
• Resolve billing issues in a timely manner
• Reconcile multi-family accounts
• Create and maintain credit history files
• Respond to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Make recommendations for process improvements

• Strong understanding of billing and collection processes
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Highly skilled in negotiation
• Great organization and follow-up

Salary & Benefits

• Salary will be commensurate with experience
• 401k with company contribution of $0.50 on the dollar up to 6% for matching
• First year 12 days paid time off, after second year 18 days paid time off
• Medical paid by employer at 75%

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
