Elite Contracting Group is Hiring a Project Manager Near Virginia Beach, VA

Elite Contracting Group is seeking Project Managers to join our Eastern Region office in Virginia Beach, VA. Elite Contracting Group is one of Virginia's fastest-growing full-service security and resiliency solution integration companies.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all work is performed according to safety standards with a focus on quality customer service
  • Coordinate and lead project lifecycle
  • Define project goals, scope, approach, and overall task plan
  • Develop and review technical documents including project schedules
  • Coordinate with customers, stakeholders, system integrators, vendors and subcontractors to define and manage project scope, schedule, and outcomes
  • Manage project risks, mitigations, and outcomes
  • Monitor and provide updates on all milestones/deliverables for all phases, driving team to deliver on schedule
  • Lead and facilitate meetings and work sessions
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five years experience managing projects; strongly prefer experience in security, intrusion control or similar environment
  • Excellent technical writing skills
  • Strong organization skills with an attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • PMP and technical security systems certifications preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and bend
  • Must be able to see color to discern plans

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be able to work Monday – Friday 7:00AM – 5:00PM; additional work may be required
  • Must possess and maintain a satisfactory background record
  • Must be willing to travel as needed
