MedTech Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Speak, read and write English fluently
Value and respect of elderly/assisted living
Have consistent attendance/reliable method of transportation
Ability to correspond and document properly in charts and portal
Excellent oral communication, reading comprehension skills, written communication

MedTech Responsibilities: (not limited to)

Deliver prescribed treatments as outlined in the Medication Administration Record (MAR)
Deliver medications in a way that provides respect and dignity
Maintain patient stability by monitoring vital signs and weight, testing urine; recording intake and output information; providing first aid wound care as needed
Maintain current resident records for each resident, including but not limited to obtaining current physician orders, clarifying orders, and alert and monthly charting
Document events such as doctor’s appointments, medication changes and more
Maintain, transcribe, and document in the MAR according to policy and procedure
