Eliot's Division of Children, Youth and Family is seeking a Director of Residential Services. This Division supports children referred by the Department of Children and Families and the Department of Youth Services. Our ideal candidate will have experience managing systems of care for children, youth and families, as well as a history of implementing and monitoring evidence-based treatment through trauma informed care and interventions. 

Responsibilities: 

• Oversee start up for youth programs including siting, hiring and training staff, preparing and furnishing the facility, coordinating intake of youth, developing systems for supervision and monitoring, developing policies, procedures and protocols for operations, coordinating and implementing all programming.
• Serve as point person in absence of Director of Juvenile Justice or Director of Social Services. Maintain a flexible schedule to allow for programmatic needs and crises.
• Provide weekly supervision to assigned staff, yearly performance evaluations and discipline. Create, implement and monitor individual development plans.
• Develop, oversee and monitor annual budgets for each site.
• Ensure the implementation of, and fidelity to, the models of care including ARC, PYD, DBT and TIC. Ensure compliance with all reporting and documentation requirements.
• Write and submit proposals in response to new and existing program RFRs.
• Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality at all times.
• Be a positive and professional role model for youth and staff at all times.
• Participate in division meetings and trainings as required.
• Respect the diversity of others by demonstrating and modeling cultural awareness and sensitivity at all times.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree and a minimum of ten years’ experience, at least six years in a supervisory, management and administrative capacity.
• Licensed (LICSW or LMHC) or license eligible.
• Knowledge of DYS, DCF, juvenile justice, EEC and child welfare.

Location: Statewide 

Salary: Based on Experience and Licensure 

Schedule: Full time, 40 hours per week. Monday- Friday.
