Description

Join Elica’s mission and become a part of a team where every day is an opportunity to make a positive impact in your community!

At Elica Health Centers, we share a common goal: provide the best possible patient care to our growing community! Our passion extends throughout Elica, from the exceptional healthcare services we provide to our underserved patients at our Community Health Clinics and state-of-the-art mobile medicine program, Health on Wheels, to our Resource Center where we empower patients and members of the community to connect with resources to help them build healthy and full lives.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

The Float Medical Provider is a MD, DO, NP or PA in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Pediatrics and is responsible for providing high quality primary care to the patients of Elica Health Centers in the outpatient setting. Elica Health Centers is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) providing comprehensive primary and preventative health care services to a growing patient population. We are committed to providing excellent service to our patient population. Our rapidly expanding center offers services that include: internal and family medicine, pediatrics, dentistry, care management, and behavioral health. Elica is dedicated to serving low-income, multi-ethnic populations throughout the greater Sacramento area, with a special focus on immigrant communities. We are a diverse team, passionate about meeting the needs of our community through patient-centered, compassionate, comprehensive, integrated care.

This is a hybrid role that requires covering the in-person and/or remote clinic schedule and inbox for other medical providers who are on leave. When in-person coverage is needed, Float Medical Provider will be scheduled in-person at an Elica Health Center location in the Greater Sacramento area. This role offers great flexibility in terms of hours. Both 8- and 10-hour weekday schedules will be considered, as well as 8- to 40-hour week schedules. Schedules can be either the same every week or based on organizational need, depending on the Float Medical Provider’s preference. There are no on-call responsibilities, panel of patients, supervision of other providers, or required weekend hours. In-person work will be required when covering for an in-person provider’s leave; otherwise, work will be remote.
